My approach to your photo session
I want you to look at your images and feel like you are in the moment again, surrounded by all the crazy chaos, love & laughter that reflects just how you guys roll.
I've always felt slightly awkward being in photos myself. I think that's way I have invested so much time and energy into developing a way of photographing families that means we get relaxed, genuine expressions - and believe it or not, we also have a whole lot of fun. Even Dads & teenagers will tell me this when we've finished!
've been photographing families, events and businesses in Whangarei for over 10 years. I absolutely love what I do, and there's not a day goes by that I don't remind myself of that.
My Background AS A whangarei Photographer
My two girls have grown up on the stages of Whangarei singing and acting in what seems like a million concerts and musical theatre productions. So as well as photographing Whangarei families and businesses, I have also had the privilege of capturing many show moments for both Opera North and Whangarei Theatre Company.
We have the most beautiful family photos thanks to Tracey.

We were wonderfully managed - humans and groomed dog alike -in the beachy outdoors and everyone really enjoyed our experience.

She was so calm and relaxed when taking our family photos that the kids were super chill in front of the camera. She did an amazing job of wrangling 3 under 9 years, and was able to go with the flow even thru tantrums and tears from falling over. Thank you Tracey for such an amazing photoshoot. You understood what we were after! You manged to capture the magic for us even though the skies didn’t deliver the sunset light we would have liked. It really didn’t matter in the end because the album is absolutely stunning.
